Insurance:
Insurance is one of the most
difficult and delicate details to discuss before your move. No moving
company or customer wants to think about insurance (or damage or claims)
before a move takes place, but we understand that our moving industry
employs human beings and human beings may make mistakes.
Our trained and professional personnel have excellent track records
in the moving industry. Our business has been built on referrals, and
our past customers refer our company because we take care of them, from
the time of the estimate until they are completely satisfied with their
move experience.
Regency Moving and Storage is completely insured, from our trucks, to
our men, to your home and belongings. We advise customers to procure
adequate insurance to protect themselves from loss or damage. All customers
can choose the correct policy from the two types of insurance we offer
with every move.
Standard Insurance: (with contract) at no extra charge. $.60 per pound
per complete article and no more that $50.00 per article whichever is
less. Most customers with existing comprehensive coverage through their
own agent choose A.
Full Value Insurance: This insurance covers your goods in the event
of loss or damage (beyond repair) for no greater proportion there of,
than the amount hereby insured bears to 100% of the replacement cost
of all property (damaged or destroyed beyond repair) insured hereunder
at the time of such loss shall occur. The cost is $.75 per $100.00 of
value. (Minimum coverage $20,000).
Regency Moving and Storage has implemented an innovative bonus program
in which EVERY Regency employee has a vested interest in making your
move damage free.
We also want every customer to realize that our insurance is not the
only insurance available. Many customers are already covered under homeowner's
or renter's insurance policies that they are carrying. Check with your
