Insurance:
Check all your furniture
before and after the move. Different light, setup, angles can create
a "new" look for your furniture. Fresh damage is obvious,
bring any discrepancies up with your Regency staff.
Regency Moving and Storage will not transport or insure the following:
-- Firearms/Weapons Jewelry Alcoholic Beverages
-- Furs Tickets Cash
-- Paint Coin Collections Fireworks
-- Firewood Flammables of any type Live Pets
-- Live Plants Open Top Boxes Propane Tank (full)
-- Gas Cans (full)*

Some items Regency Moving and Storage will not be responsible for:
> Items made of pressed wood, pressboard, or similar material
> Any glass not professionally crated
> Any marble not professionally crated
> Electrical or mechanical malfunctions due to moving
> Mattresses contorted during moving to enable said movers to safely
procure in bedroom
> Boxes packed or unpacked by anyone other then a Regency employee
> Unpacked Lamps, Pictures or similar items
> Crystallized (or dried up) glued pieces that may come apart
> Computer hardware or software function
* Remember, many of these are "common sense" items that should
be moved by the shipper themselves. A smart and successful move is one
where the customer and the company work together. We will do anything
to complete your move safely and efficiently but remember our (and your)
insurance limits our liability.
We cannot move some items by law (firearms, flammables, etc.) and other
items for insurance purposes (live pets, plants, etc.). Please use this
list to make a "smart" move. Tape shut all boxes and mark
them clearly. Keep all jewelry, cash, tickets, etc. in your immediate
possession. Move day can be a very hectic and stressful time, everything
you do to avoid confusion can make your move go smoothly.
